Zwar ist diese Malerei während des Malens losgelöst von gegenständlichen Vorstellungen, und konkrete Arbeits-Motivation sind nur Farbklänge und Strukturen, jedoch sucht der Mensch Gekanntes und Erinnertes wiederzuerkennen, um nicht aus den „Gewissheitsstrukturen der Alltage“ (Leo Navratil) herauszufallen. So ist der Titel „Traffic“ verständlich, denn man könnte auf dem Bild Autoscheinwerfer und Rücklichter erkennen.

Thanks to you, too, Willi von Keitz, for the title of this weekly painting. Although this way of painting is detached from figurative perceptions while painting – and concrete work motivation are only colour tones and structures –, however, man tries to recognize the known and the remembered, so as to not fall out of the “structues of certainty of everyday life“ (Leo Navratil). This way the title “Traffic“ is understandable, since one may spot headlights and taillights of a car.
