Serie Mensch

Das erste Figurenbild dieser Art malte ich 1986, das 1995 von dem bekannten Schweizer Architekten und Bildhauer Prof. Walter Maria Foerderer in meinem damaligen Atelier in Lünen, Preußenstraße 96 erworben wurde.

The first painting of this kind I completed in 1986, which was acquired in 1995 by the well-known Swiss architect and sculptor Prof. Walter Maria Foerderer in my studio in Lünen, Prussia Street 96.

Dunst der Theorien über Berlin

Im Anschluß an Jean-Francois Lyotards Buch „Apathie in der Theorie“, das mir 1980 mein Kunstprofessor Peter Rech in Münster empfahl, entstand der Titel zu diesem Bild.

In 1980, my art professor Peter Rech from the university of Münster introduced me to Jean-Francois Lyotard's book "Apathy in Theory", which is how the title to this painting came to be.
